Longtail Keywords vs short keywords
Super easy SEO TIP of the day: Use long tail keywords to get your website ranking super high on Google – ZERO to a Million.
What are longtail keywords? Longtail keywords are keywords that are longer than two words. They can be 3+ words, or phrases, even questions. Compared to short tail keywords – keywords with one or two words, long tail keywords are much less competitive and easier to rank for on Google.
For example, if you are a beauty service in tallaght, selling ‘acrylic nails’, it would be difficult to try and rank for just ‘acrylic nails’ as there is a huge amount of competition – not saying that you can’t rank for that keyword eventually, but first you need to get your website optimisation and rankings up to a higher level. You can do this by using longtail keywords, like ‘acrylic nails tallaght’, ‘acrylic nails Dublin’. Put yourself in the mind of your audience, and think about what it is that they are looking for. Use longer keywords and phrases – Some ideas:
‘How long do acrylic nails last’
‘How much do acrylic nails cost?’
‘How long do acrylic nails take?’
Once you can break it down niche, Google will rank you higher for creating better quality, more informative content.
